Charlotte Paterson is a final year PhD student in the School of Health and Social Care at Edinburgh Napier University. For her PhD she completed a feasibility study examining the implementation of a psychological intervention in an acute psychiatric care ward in Edinburgh. She also completed a large-scale systematic review and meta-analysis of the effects of psychological therapy for acute inpatients, taking into account the internal and external validity of existing clinical trials.
